REVIEW: MUSHIYA (MUSHA) HEAVY ARMS COMMAND GUNDAM CLOTH

The Gundam with the most guns wins, and that is exactly what the Heavy Arms Command Gundam is. He is in fact the Gundam with the most firepower of all the "standard" mobile suit designs. And as far as figures go, more accessories equals more fun, and this guy has tons of accessories.
The Mushiya Real Type Cloth Gundams were a very short lived line of figures that were only distributed in Japan around 1990 and probably one of the only Gundam figure lines that wasn't based upon an anime series. There were a total of five "Musha" Gundams produced, three of which were Samurai type designs, one was a midevil knight, and the Heavy Arms Command Gundam. The Heavy Arms Command Gundam was the only design that could more or less fit within the Gundam Universe.
All the Musha Gundams have detachable armor and weapons. Most are around 8" in height and have decent articulation at about 14 points. The figures are entirely plastic with rigid construction (probably ABS) that can take abuse. The best aspect of the Musha Gundams are the accessories, and with the Heavy Arms Command Gundam it's all about firepower. With two LARGE rifles, a bowie knife, four grenades, a missile launcher with six removable missiles and four cannons attached to the armor, this guy is armed to the hilt, and all this makes for a very fun figure.
These were made as toy figures and not collector's figures, which means he's durable and well made, but not as much detail in the sculpt generally, but he looks great on the collector shelf.
All the Musha Gundams are fairly rare figures to find these days and the Heavy Arms Command Gundam is among the most sought after, especially without his stickers attached, but he does come up on Ebay occasionally and usually sells for anywhere between $100-$300. I recommend him highly!
